The Hartford Area Child Care Collaborative is committed to turning ideas and solutions into actions, getting results, and moving forward to ensure that every child has access to a high-quality early childhood program. The Collaborative seeks to continually assess needs, gaps, barriers and solutions to give our staff, children and families the quality of programming and support they all deserve. Our members are critical sources of information for this analysis.
The Collaborative tackles issues such as leadership, public awareness, coordination of services, and economics. Meetings are open to members and the community and bring together a dynamic and diverse group of individuals and organizations representing child care, government, community services, funders, and higher education. Out of these meetings, action steps are developed to bring about positive change.
Our members and participants have found the meetings and committees focal points that make a difference in their everyday work, as well as invigorating and even inspirational in these challenging times. Our extensive networking capacity and resource library have made us a center for technical assistance and information on a variety of topics in early childhood care and education.
The key to a strong society is the education and care of our children.
